Veteran public relations executive Ryan Julison has spent nearly two decades managing global communications, media and PR strategies and campaigns for organizations in a variety of industries. His background includes expertise in real estate, hospitality, sports marketing and corporate development. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with myriad attorneys on high-profile legal cases involving a variety of issues.
Today, Julison founded and manages Julison Communications, a full-service public relations and crisis communications firm. At Julison Communications, he has served a diverse client portfolio but specializes in work with attorneys. Throughout his career, he has managed communications strategy and crisis management for a wide variety of complex situations involving national media.
For nearly a decade, Julison served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications for Ginn Resorts, one of the country's leading resort real estate, hospitality management and golf companies with 16 resorts and private club communities in operation and more than 40,000 acres of land in development. At Ginn, Julison was responsible for managing both internal and external PR and communications initiatives for the company's entire corporate portfolio located throughout the Southeast, Colorado, Vermont and the Caribbean. During his tenure at Ginn, Julison provided strategic counsel and directed senior management in crisis communications activities company-wide which included a variety of complex and wide-ranging issues involving national media, property owners, club members and employees. In addition, Julison managed all communications, community and media relations efforts surrounding the company's development issues when in the often controversial permitting process with municipalities and local and federal regulatory agencies.
Prior to joining Ginn, Julison served as Vice President of Public Relations at Gilbert & Manjura Marketing, an Orlando-based advertising agency. At Gilbert & Manjura, he managed the agency's public relations division and was responsible for client interaction and new business development. During his tenure at GMM, the public relations division had its most successful years in the history of the company. Previously, Julison worked at Y Partnership (formerly Yesawich, Pepperdine & Brown) a nationally-recognized hospitality advertising and public relations agency. At the agency, Julison managed a portfolio of PR accounts including Grupo Posadas, Latin America's leading hotel chain. Julison began his career in the broadcasting industry as promotions and marketing director at WGNE-FM radio, the top-rated station in Daytona Beach. At WGNE, Julison created and managed many large promotions with some of the most well-known events in America including Bike Week and NASCAR's Speedweeks. Julison is a graduate of Stetson University and is actively involved in a variety of charitable endeavors.
